If you want to carry a tent during a trek without splitting it into 2 sets (poles and the rest), Deuter Air Contact 55+10 might be a good choice for you. I can fit a tent into the 32 inches tall bag at ease and position it right in the centre near to my back, while the rest of the items can fit into the two sides to keep the tent upright.

Coupled with a carry capacity up to 55lbs (around 25kg) and the durable materials used, I do not have to worry about the bag giving way along the trip with a typical load of 15 to 20kg for a 3-4 days trek.

For hydration, I was pretty impressed that the side water bottle pockets are not just restricted to water bags when I managed to put a 1.5 litres mineral water bottle inside each pocket. Finally, the backpack is highly customizable to the user body with the adjustable shoulder straps allowing him to share this bag with his family members.
